Haven’t been posting because I’ve been in the country with no Internet for like the last 3 days, well 2 days and a half.
So I’ll upload some photos from day 3 and 4 for now and hopefully some videos will work too.
So let’s start with..
The trip was about 3 hours all up maybe a bit more due to traffic, so finally arriving in the place..
And then finally in the town..
So to be frank the day was spent kind of like.. saying hi to relatives and stuff, and having lunch with them. Having a walk around with my cousin and having proper Pearl Milk Tea and going to places like the primary school and the senior high to play some basketball, just killing time really. But was a good chance to have a look around and soak up the country feel – that dirty feel 😛
The night life was more interesting – because Wing REALLY wanted to play with fireworks, much like how he REALLY wanted to play with a CO2 BBGun (more on that later :]).
So at night, my 2 cousins and us went to get some fireworks..
(Beer flavour green tea if you can’t see it).
It actually was quite nice, like 4% alcohol or something, just under the limit.
So anyway after we got some drinks (which proved to be very useful), we headed towards the school loaded with some fireworks and incense (because fire lighters make the fireworks go off too fast..)
So as you can see, there were a variety, the ones with wings were very interesting, they would fly up and twirl and sparkle alot, the round ones tend to be “fountains”, the bundled ones and the long one were projectile ones that shoot and go BOOM, and the long square stick would shoot out like.. 10 or so fireworks 😛
And Wing thought he was pretty creative or something..
Anyway, so wing thought it would work like awesome-ly or something.. however..
So that was the end result of that.. 1 went up into the sky, 2 just blew off on their sticks and 2 just bent.
With a free asian-squat.
At the end of it, our cans sort of looked like this.
We later used those three cans as the base of the big firework we launched last (I’ll try post a video of that).
The last bundle of these type of fireworks I believe. (Notice another fail fountain in the middle..?)
Then later we decided to launch the fireworks backwards into the cans to see if it’ll damage them..
Can’t really see the smoke.. but it’s there!
Then there was some mucking around with incense, I’m sure some of you photographers would know.. clubbing and glow stiX?
So for more firework pictures please see:
As for videoes – I’ll be uploading to YouTube – check back later :).

Just for reference of the trip:
This day mainly consisted of visiting the harbourside of 二林, which is um.. far West, closest part to China, haha.
In the morning Wing and I went to go buy his CO2 BBgun because he’s been bugging me for one, lol what a childddddddd. So he brought that along, and funny events transpired..
OK, so we set off to the windy west harbour!
Walked a bit..
It’s a good bbgun though, guess value for money – for now.
Pretty nice weather – just windy, not cold though.
We also saw this..
I tried to take some snaps of the sun + sea..
We also had a look at a store which made their stuff from Oyster shells, yup that’s right..
Hmm.. some pigs~
A bit more walking..
This sort of reminds me of people drawing on desks in schools:
After that we went to a market place near the area.. very lively, never knew this place existed in the ZhangHua district!
So after that.. Wing got to try this thing..
Later when we finally got back to 二林, we went to the nightmarkets afterwards – not as big or great as the ones in Taipei, but still all the satisfying to beat Wing in a bbgun shootout and watch him lose lots of moneys in the skill testers because he has no skillsssss..
And of course we had to have Stinky Tofu if we went there!
So that ended day 4..
OK, so on the way back from the festive place.. we were in the car, and kevin being the gun freak he is brought his bbgun along (evident in the photos above), in the car he pulled it out and placed the gun box on his lap and pointed the gun to the box and said:
“Do you think it’ll go through?” (Supposedly he was “testing” how strong it was).
And I replied:
“I don’t think you should do that man.”
And I turned away because we were parking the car, then suddenly – BAM and I turned around to see..
..Kevin holding his right thigh and crying like >.<” with a mix of XD and X[ etc etc.. and he was like:
“Nyueeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrr uggggggghhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! omg omg omg”
Which resulted in a lump for the day.
p.s. the bb pellet went through about 10cm of foam, pass cardboard and plastic too and his jeans LOL.
Not much happened on day 5 till night – because we were coming back to Taipei during the day.
So.. we went to 士林 nightmarket for the night, also a chance to show Wing the metro station:
Then got off at JianTan station to get to the nightmarket:
The rush of people..
Watching wing playing seedy games and losing lololol:
Then archery failure too (2/10):
Watched this (sweaty)man play this basketball ball shooting game, his score was over 999 so it restarted (total score was 1215 and had an accuracy of 93%, check the video later):

That’s it for now!
