After class we went to 中正紀念堂 (C.K.S. Memorial Hall) to have a look, which was only like a 10 minute walk from 古亭 (GuTing):
Walk in walk in walk in..
Okay I should mention that, C.K.S. stands for Chiang Kai-Set who was an old president of Taiwan and one of the founding fathers of Taiwan I believe. So this one is the big memorial for him (also the place they had the protests last year). The other hall was for a founding father too.
Anyway for lunch we went to the buffet – which was like 450NT each. Not bad for the quality of food and the amount we ate lol.
Alright the food was like lots variety of foods like seafood, meats, fish, salads, noodle/congee bar (very nice congee I must say) soups, dessert soups, coffee, juices, CRANBERRY SORBET (actually slurpee, ZOMG UNLIMITED SLURPEE!), fruits, dessert (lots of strawberry desserts too, wing was in LOOOOOOOOOVE), and lots more, oh yeah, dim sims 😛
So after that we NEEDED to walk it off:
However we’ll come back to that :).
Ok, I’m not too sure whether it was a model of singer, but we saw a mini photoshoot hmm.. well she was pretty according to Wing haha 😛
So afterwards we went into the memorial hall, downstairs first:
Every hour the guards on the side swap, marches happen and gunswinging happens~ very formal.
So that pretty much concluded that trip 😛
