Taiwan Trip ’11 – Day 6.

Lazy day today, kinda.

Went to visit an Australian family friend who have also come back to Taiwan for the holidays.

We had lunch at a er.. how to say, like “traditional”/”signature” food place.

Old liquor licenses.

Table/chair layout.

Their "specialty" is the way they flavour the rice - pig fat/oil with soy-ish sauce, sounds disgusting, but it's greeeeeeat.

Buyable too ๐Ÿ˜›

There were other dishes too but meh =P.

Went to their house afterwards and mum and them were K’ing for awhile.

Albert did pass out.

For dinner we went to my favourite tonkatsu restaurant in Taiwan ๐Ÿ˜€

The menu~

Some of their sauces.

The cabbage was unlimited and the seeds needed to be crushed by ourselves to be added to the sauce ๐Ÿ˜›

The radish and black bean side dishes were unlimited too.

My tonkatsu, weeeeeee.

Some other dishes, which were complementary. The miso soup and the rice were also unlimited.

My dessert - green tea ice cream with red bean powder.

Going to be a relatively quiet day tomorrow.

Then Sunday I will be heading south to around the middle of Taiwan.

Not sure if I can keep the daily updates up since they may not have interwebs :P.
